This 8-Hour course covers: Application of laws and regulations governing the use of UAS; Examination of types of USA operations; Analyze UAS capabilities and limitations; Evaluate the suitability for UAS operations within the operational environment; Evaluate UAS operations as they pertain to privacy and civil rights issues and the impact on public perception; Create a petition for exemption to operate unmanned aircraft in the National Airspace System under the FAA Part 107; Identify key resources for UAS operators to maintain currency in a changing field.
